Profile: Ban Zhang is one of Yunnan’s most celebrated Pu-erh tea regions, renowned for producing raw Pu-erh with remarkable strength, depth and enduring tea energy. After ageing since 2018, this tea has developed a smoother and more rounded character while retaining its signature intensity. The liquor is rich and full-bodied, opening with bold bitterness that quickly transforms into returning sweetness, followed by noticeable salivation and a deep, lingering finish.
Taste: Bold and full-bodied, with floral and honeyed aromas, subtle fruit and a firm initial bitterness that develops into a long-lasting sweetness.
Brewing Suggestions: 8g tea leaves | 95–100°C water | Rinse once | Steep for 10 seconds | Re-infuse 8 or more times.
