無人之境 (Wúrén zhī jìng)
Origin: Bu Lang Mountain, Yunnan, China
Year: 2018
Harvest Season: Early Spring in March
Profile: This tea cake was named to commemorate our decision to leave a section of the mountain untouched, allowing the tea trees to grow wild and naturally absorb nutrients from summer through the end of winter. It was pressed using wild Gu Shu Mao Cha (古樹毛茶), harvested from these ancient trees."
Taste: From the very first infusions, this tea delivers a strong Cha Qi, accompanied by a well-balanced bitterness and a lasting Huigan (returning sweetness). Despite being made from wild tea, it exhibits little to no astringency.
Brewing Suggestions:
10 grams of tea leaves | Boiling water is the best | Steeping time 8 seconds | Re-infuse up to 8 times (could be more if you are a light tea drinker)
