Profile:Big Red Robe also known as Da hong Pao is a falls in the rock tea categories which are grown in the Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province, China. It is a heavily oxidized dark oolong tea with very delicate heavy smoky aftertaste, with a amel and cocoa notes.
How is it premium? According to the different producing areas of Wuyi Rock, it can be divided into four varieties: Dahongpao from branches of the Mother tree, "Zhengyan Dahongpao" means the Dahongpao Region and "Banyan Dahongpao" means from the outter Dahongpao region. The types of Dahongpao are highly related to the classification of grades and the place of origin. For our premium Da Hong Pao is from Zhengyan Dahongpao harvest in spring season.
Taste: Strong roasted aroma with a hint of almond sweet note for after taste.
