Ma Hei Pu Er Tea Map

Origin: Ma Hei Village, Yiwu Tea Region, Mengla County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China

Year: 2017 Harvest

Tea Code: #925

Profile:
Ma Hei is one of the most respected villages within the renowned Yiwu tea region. Its ancient tea trees produce an elegant raw Pu Er celebrated for its elevated fragrance, gentle strength and naturally sweet character.

Naturally aged since 2017, this tea has developed a smooth and rounded liquor while retaining the clarity and vitality of a younger raw Pu Er. Aromas of wild honey and orchids unfold into layers of dried longan, sweet herbs and soft wood. A light caramel-like sweetness gradually emerges as the leaves open.

Taste:
Smooth and honeyed, with notes of orchid, dried longan, caramel, sweet herbs and soft wood. Expect a thick, silky texture, gentle bitterness and a persistent returning sweetness.

Brewing Suggestions:
8 grams of tea leaves | 100°C water | Steep for 10 seconds | Re-infuse 6–8 times

Rinse the leaves briefly before the first infusion. Gradually extend the steeping time as the leaves fully open.

Storage Recommendation:
After each use, reseal the bag or container tightly. Store the tea in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area away from sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Avoid storing it in the kitchen, as tea readily absorbs surrounding aromas.
